Job Description:

Work Responsibilities:  Subject Matter Expert

  • Responsible for Tax accounting
  • Responsible for Tax strategy/ planning
  • Preparation of Tax returns, tax provisions
  • Thorough understanding of financial statements and group company transactions
  • Ensuring Ledger scrutiny
  • Reconciliation of Tax accounts/ Tax credits
  • Providing updates to executives/ leaders
  • Responsible for calculation of Tax liability payments
  • Assistance in filing of replies to various notices issued by the Tax authorities.
  • Tax related Documentation, maintain organized and up-to-date records of Tax transactions.
  • Ensuring the books of accounts are updated and reconciled as per statutory returns.
  • Assistance in audits
  • Enhancement of control environment
  • Key risks identification, prioritisation, monitoring and remediation
  • Contribute to an environment where people and technology thrive together.
  • Assistance in process improvement, automation etc.
  • Deal effectively with ambiguous and unstructured problems and situation.

Adhoc Tasks

  • Should be able to manage adhoc requests in timely manner.

Experience

  • In-depth knowledge of above-mentioned responsibilities
  • Preferred- Chartered Accountant with 5-8 years of working experience in Tax function
  • Practical experience of working in Tax
  • Experience in International Taxation is preferred.

Skills

  • Excellent collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in high pressure situations.
  • Good communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, working experience in SAP / Oracle Financials or any other ERP.
