R2Net – Blue Nile & James Allen is looking for a Supply Chain Assistant Manager to help lead daily operations across our Supply Chain and Fulfillment teams. This role will partner closely with the Supply Chain Manager to ensure efficient workflow management, balanced workloads, and consistent delivery of high-quality fulfillment performance.

The ideal candidate will combine strong operational acumen with a collaborative leadership style — ensuring our teams have the resources, clarity, and communication needed to succeed.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Supply Chain Manager to oversee daily operations of the Supply Chain and Fulfillment teams.
  • Support team members by providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative environment where everyone feels encouraged to share updates and raise challenges.
  • Lead weekly team check-ins to review key metrics, volumes, issues, and progress on tasks, ensuring all members are aligned and supported.
  • Assist with decision-making and problem-solving on both Supply Chain and Fulfillment matters, escalating issues to the Supply Chain Manager as needed.
  • Coordinate resources across Supply Chain to balance workload and improve efficiency.
  • Support the implementation of new processes, tools, and systems within Supply Chain and the Fulfillment Center, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Customer Service, Operations, Vendors) to ensure transparent communication and prevent disruptions in order fulfillment.
  • Maintain and optimize databases, ensuring records are complete, accurate, and accessible for the team.

Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience within Supply Chain, Logistics, or other relevant field.
  • 2+ years of relevant people leadership experience
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools; ability to create and interpret reports, dashboards, and KPIs (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc)
  • Ability to make decisions independently and support teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Adaptable and quick to learn new systems, processes, and responsibilities.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to make timely, informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to encourage collaboration and build trust across teams. Collaborative mindset, skilled at building relationships with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • People-focused leadership style, with the ability to motivate, support, and develop team members while maintaining accountability. Creative and solutions-driven, with the ability to implement new processes, tools, and reporting methods that enhance team efficiency.

Annual base pay: $64,350 - $80,000. Final pay rate shall be determined and is based on experience and qualifications.
