POSITION SUMMARY:
The person is responsible for the day to day operations of the Receiving department. An Assistant Manager, Receiving is a role model and leader and must solve problems, make informed decisions and manage the department wisely in order to achieve maximum results.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage a Team of receiving personnel including Supervisor, Receiver and Runners of all loading dock;
- Carries out instructions and directives from the Receiving Manager and Senior Manager
- Dispatch Supervisor, Receivers and Runner and receive Invoices as well as supervise receiving.
- Dispatch Runners and assist in delivery according to Priority Items to be delivered as well as supervise distribution.
- Write daily Expediting Detail Report on notice board and plan manpower accordingly.
- Manpower adjustment across the properties whenever necessary.
- To ensure all team members adhere with the company’s Hygiene Standards (HACCP).
- To ensure all team members adhere with the company’s Safety Standards (OSH).
- Maintain cleanliness of workplace according to HACCP standards (Receiving Transit area, Transit Chillers, Loading Dock, and Receiving Office).
- Transit Chiller temperature checking and recording twice daily (Opening and Closing shift), report abnormalities to Engineering and assistant receiving manager for necessary action.
- To ensure all receiving documents such as Supplier’s Invoice/DN, PO Hardcopy, are complete before sending to AP Invoice Team to further process.
- To ensure all invoices are posted at the end of every shift.
- Supervise PO Posting.
- Send all completed posted invoices to AP invoice team via internal mail daily, except Sunday and non-operational days.

Working Conditions
- Must be able to work in a non temperature controlled environment.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, and to move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures as delivered on the dock, which may entail heavy lifting, and perform all functions as set forth above.
- Ability to work a full-time schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience
- At least three to four years related experience in the capacity of Receiving Supervisor in hospitality industry; experience using Stratton Warren System (SWS) purchasing system or other similar system is definitely a plus.
- OHSA and HACCP experience
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite of products
- Knowledge using warehouse management system and electronic trading technology
- General understanding of hotel and business operations
Education
- Logistic Bachelor's degree academic qualifications; holder of diploma/certificate of Purchasing and Supply, Logistics Management or Warehouse Management will be an added advantage.
