This role supports the development and execution of product marketing initiatives across GWAM Asia, focusing on creating and maintaining high-quality product marketing materials, supporting product positioning, and ensuring the timely, accurate, and compliant delivery of marketing collateral across markets.
The successful candidate will take ownership of work and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, demonstrating agility and resilience to manage multiple projects. Position Responsibilities:
Product marketing development and execution
- Assist in the development and maintenance of product marketing materials, including factsheets, fund commentaries, brochures, and website product content etc.
- Coordinate updates to product messaging and materials to reflect market developments and business focus areas.
- Ensure materials are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with agreed positioning and messaging.
- Coordinate input from stakeholders and support timely delivery of materials across the region.
- Maintain version control and ensure consistency across different formats and markets.
- Support the execution of product marketing plans aligned with regional acquisition and retention priorities.
Product positioning & competitive insights
- Support the development of product positioning and client propositions, ensuring consistency across markets and channels.
- Conduct competitor and peer analysis to help identify key differentiators and support positioning.
- Assist in articulating unique selling points (USPs) in a clear and structured manner for use in marketing materials.
Content support & editorial coordination
- Assist in producing and adapting investment and marketing content for various formats (e.g. short articles, infographics, videos and social media content).
- Support the integration of macro market views with product messaging, under guidance from senior stakeholders.
- Help distill complex investment concepts into clear, concise, and client-friendly language.
- Translate and review materials and provide content support to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency in tone and style.
Compliance & governance coordination
- Coordinate the compliance review process for product marketing materials, ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal requirements.
- Ensure all materials follow brand guidelines, disclosures, and approval processes.
- Track approvals and maintain proper documentation to support audit and governance needs.
Distribution & channel support
- Support the distribution of product marketing materials across distribution teams, websites, and campaigns.
- Coordinate with digital/ publishing teams on content uploads, updates, and campaign deployment.
- Help ensure content is accessible and effectively utilised by local teams.
Operational support & vendor coordination
- Assist in coordinating external vendors (designers, editors, translators) to support production of materials.
- Help manage timelines, trackers, and workflows to ensure smooth execution.
Required Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in product marketing, content marketing, or related roles, preferably in asset management or financial services. Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager.
- Good understanding of investment products, markets and the competitor landscapes preferred.
- Excellent written and spoken English required, with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts. Good command of Chinese language skills would be an advantage.
- High level of attention to detail, with the focus on delivering accurate, consistent, and high-quality outputs, particularly in a regulated environment.
- Possess a can-do and positive attitude, comfortable managing process-driven and detail-oriented tasks, and be able to work under pressure managing multiple tasks and competing deadlines.
- A strong team member to collaborate across teams, while being capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional and regional stakeholders.
- Familiar with using AI-enabled content and productivity tools to support content development, summarisation, and workflow efficiency.
