Job Description

Operations Coordination:

  • Assist in daily inbound and outbound operations, ensuring timely receipt and dispatch of FMCG products.
  • Oversee the coordination with the 3PL partner to ensure smooth warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping.
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure correct storage practices are followed.


Inventory Management:

  • Assist in inventory control processes, ensuring accurate stock counts and reporting any discrepancies to the Manager.
  • Collaborate with the team to minimize stock shrinkage and maintain an optimal inventory level.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits with the 3PL partner.

Quality Control:

  • Ensure that all FMCG products are handled in compliance with quality standards and best practices.
  • Conduct periodic inspections of the warehouse to ensure products are stored properly and meet quality standards.
  • Communicate any quality issues with the 3PL partner and escalate critical matters to the Manager.

Process Support:

  • Support the implementation of process improvements to enhance operational
  • efficiency and reduce delays.
  • Assist in documenting SOPs and work instructions to maintain consistent
  • performance in operations.
  • Suggest improvements based on daily observations of the operation and feedback from the 3PL partner.

3PL Liaison:

  • Act as the point of contact between the company and the 3PL service provider,
  • facilitating smooth communication.
  • Monitor 3PL performance, ensuring compliance with agreed KPIs and timelines.
  • Report operational issues or challenges from the 3PL to the Manager and support the
  • resolution process.

Health & Safety Compliance:

  • Ensure all activities in the DC adhere to health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
  • Conduct routine checks to ensure the 3PL is complying with safety standards.




Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
  • 3-4 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or a similar role in the FMCG sector.
  • Experience coordinating with 3PL providers is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory.
  • Good communication and coordination abilities, especially with external vendors.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Basic understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus
