Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Assistant Manager  - MPDM located in Coimbatore

What a typical day looks like

• Efficiently manage ECO / PDM process for manufacturing sites across the globe
• Work closely with IT for Design & Engineering tools
• Conduct flawless transition of processes from sites.
• Work closely with Engineering and materials teams to review product updates / modifications.
• Perform Quarterly / Annual performance appraisals for the team members.
• Ensure adherence to targets set for all Process Metrics
• Ensure timely generation and circulation of reports / dashboards.
• Mentor the team and guide them towards effective discharge of functions.
• Handle escalations if any and escalate matters requiring the senior management’s attention on a timely basis.
• Train new and existing team members and Team Leaders on relevant tools or topics.
• Perform root cause analysis to expedite the resolution of service issues.
• Maintain excellent relationship with internal customers at site and with key stakeholders in the organization.
• Create and make professional presentations to Management and customers.
• Identify, recommend, and implement operational efficiencies to drive continuous improvement.
• Lead Lean Six Sigma projects and have your team do the same.
• Prepare Customized reports for analyzing and incorporating improvements in processes.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor Of Engineering (Any Stream) with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in Engineering / ECO Process
• At least 2 of these years in a Manufacturing set up (preferably EMS)
• Experience in handling Engineering Change Order Management (ECO/MCO/ECN).
• Creating setup like product Number, BOM Structure etc in PLM (Product Life Cycle Management) and ERP for new Products.
• Creating part numbers for BOM in agile & Baan.
• Downloading customer documents like product specifications etc & releasing same in CDC
• Work as a Change Analysts during NPI for new changes.
• Release Part list to production for new models & after implementation of ECO's
