The Assistant Manager / Lead – Talent Development will conceptualize, design, execute and continuously improve learning and talent development initiatives across Esyasoft.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can think independently, take ownership, move with speed and translate business priorities into practical people-development solutions. The role will work across Graduate Engineers, lateral hires, technical talent, first-time managers, high-potential employees and emerging leaders.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, manages multiple priorities effectively and proactively identifies what needs to be done rather than waiting for instructions.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Development & Program Management

  • Design and manage learning journeys across early careers, technical talent, first-time managers, high-potential talent and leadership.
  • Drive flagship initiatives including the Esyasoft Graduate Program (EGP), First-Time Managers Academy (Evolve), Hi-Potential Program (Elevate), leadership development and ESLIP.
  • Translate business priorities into structured learning journeys with clear outcomes and success measures.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve programs for effectiveness, scalability and impact.

Business & Capability Consulting

  • Partner with business leaders, function heads and HR to identify current and future capability requirements.
  • Diagnose capability gaps and determine the appropriate solution—learning, coaching, mentoring, job exposure, certification, knowledge sharing or other talent interventions.
  • Develop relevant capability interventions aligned to Esyasoft's domains, 

Technical & Future-Ready Capability

  • Build foundational, advanced and specialist learning pathways in partnership with technical SMEs, external experts and learning partners.
  • Support future-skills initiatives across AI/ML, BESS, Energy & Utilities technologies and emerging capabilities.
  • Proactively identify emerging capability requirements and recommend interventions.

Learning Culture & Experience

  • Champion #IOwnMyDevelopment and foster a culture of continuous, self-directed learning.
  • Drive learning goals, certification and development initiatives, communities of practice, peer learning and knowledge-sharing forums.
  • Design engaging content using storytelling, business cases, simulations and experiential learning.
  • Leverage digital and AI-enabled tools to enhance learning effectiveness and employee experience.

Manager & Leadership Development

  • Support manager and leadership development across people management, feedback and coaching, performance, delegation, collaboration, communication, decision-making and leading change.
  • Contribute to leadership development and succession initiatives through targeted capability interventions.

Learning Technology, Analytics & Operations

  • Support evaluation, implementation and adoption of LMS/LXP and digital learning solutions.
  • Track engagement, feedback, learning gain and application; use data to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
  • Own end-to-end program execution including planning, communications, vendors, facilitators, logistics and governance.
  • Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining quality and timelines.

Stakeholder Management, Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Build effective relationships with business leaders, HR, SMEs, vendors, consultants and external institutions.
  • Stay current on L&D, talent, leadership, technology and future-skills trends.
  • Challenge existing approaches, experiment with new formats and technologies, and scale successful practices.

What We Are Looking For

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's in HR, Organizational Psychology, L&D or related discipline preferred.
  • 4–6 years' relevant experience in L&D, Talent Development, Leadership Development or related roles.
  • Experience in technology, IT services, product or fast-growing organizations preferred.
  • Experience designing and executing organisation-wide talent development programs.

  • Excellent communication, facilitation and content-development capabilities.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and consulting skills.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into practical talent solutions.
