Job Description

Get to know the team

You will be under the Deliveries Team which covers strategy and operations. We analyze and collaborate partners to improve the Grab experience of our delivery-partners, merchants and eaters.

Get to know the role

You will develop category strategies to increase growth and profitability. You will manage product assortments, pricing, and promotions to ensure that GrabMart offers a compelling product range.

You will report directly to the Manager, Deliveries. You will be based onsite at our Ortigas office with flexible work arrangements.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • Category Strategy: You will develop and implement category strategies that align with GrabMart's overall team goals and growth targets
  • Assortment Planning: You will curate and manage product assortments to meet customer needs and preferences; work with Commercial to ensure MEX teams are aligned and build according to recommendations from insights
  • Pricing and Promotions: You will provide pricing strategy recommendations and plan promotional activities to increase sales and enhance profitability
  • Market Analysis and Customer Insights: You will work with Marketing to conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities, and gather and analyze customer feedback to inform category strategies and improve the customer experience
  • Performance Analysis: You will monitor category performance, analyze sales data, and to optimize category performance

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • You have a bachelor's degree with 3 or more years of experience in category management, demand planning, or data analytics in e-commerce or retail
  • You have analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into applicable strategies
  • You have 3 or more years of experience using Excel / Google Sheets (can maintain complex spreadsheets)
  • You have experience using SQL or Python
