Assistant Manager, Finance Experience

About the Role
Purpose of Role: Role enhancement.
- Ensure smooth and accurate month-end closes FAR SL closes and GL close.
- Ensure that management and statutory reporting is completed
- Accurately and on time and that the surrounding internal control procedures are closely adhered to controls
- Perform reconciliations, proactively working on future GLAT.
- Preparation and posting of FI Potable journals.
- Maintain AUC Ageing reporting accurately.
- Give ideas, energy, enthusiasm and support to the continuous
- improvement of the financial and operational process

- Executional excellence – should prepare reports and provide solutions on a simple and straight forward way
- Challenge to improve – should focus on improvement opportunities by positively challenging existing forms and ways of working
- Control focus – a controlling attitude is inevitable to give to the design and operation of our control environment

Top 3-5 Accountabilities:
- Perform GL reconciliations, BS analysis
- Prepare for external and internal audit (both group and statutory)
- Active involvement in fixed asset, accrual area.
- In detailed analysis of AUC process, well connected with FC team and markets.
- Update annual statutory reports (BS, CF, PL and appendix).
- Responsible for daily operational accounting and financial activities. Solves arising issues, liaises with collaborators and with other financial colleagues to tackle specific issues.
- Driving issue resolution, pro-actively seek out better ways of doing things and drive implementation of “simpler, faster, better” processes and ways of working.
- Proactively suggests improvements/additional control points to build in and takes an active part in process improvement projects, in implementation and in the follow up.
