Summary
The Compensation Project Manager leads the strategic design, development, and execution of Toyota Tsusho America's compensation programs. This pivotal role oversees all aspects of compensation analysis and project management, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and industry best practices. The Compensation Project Manager champions a high-performance culture through competitive and equitable compensation strategies.What You'll Do
- Collaborate with Human Resources and business units to contribute to the Company’s development and maintenance of compensation programs in alignment with the Company’s pay philosophy. Champion incentive programs that meet company objectives for recruiting, retention, and employee engagement.
- Lead annual compensation projects such as merit, bonus, incentive and executive compensation programs.
- Analyze and evaluate daily compensation transactions across the organization, ensuring fairness, equity, and accuracy in compliance with established Company programs, policies, and federal/state laws and regulations.
- Participate in cross-functional project teams for compensation initiatives, such as career pathing and the implementation of new or revised compensation programs.
- Create effective communication plans outlining pay structures, grades, guidelines and practices. Present annual compensation review and impact to senior executive team.
- Evaluate jobs and maintain job descriptions, job architecture and approval workflow.
- Compile and analyze highly sensitive data for usage in salary surveys and to perform market and trend analysis. Regularly reviews compensation data to identify equity, compression or geographical differentials.
- Identify areas for process improvement and work with vendors for configuration builds that support the Company's multiple pay programs.
What You Need
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business or applicable field and typically 10+ years of Compensation or Total Rewards experience.
CCP certification is required.
Must be an expert in Excel.
Experience with Workday HRIS – Core Compensation and Advanced Compensation, preferred.
Knowledgeable of various state and federal requirements, including FLSA highly preferred.
