POSITION SUMMARY:
The Assistant Manager, Business Processes will assist with the administration and processing of technical documentation based on the CGC Regulation and Direction (notifications and change for Gaming Equipment and Technology) and will be communicating with CGC for the processing of such documentation. The Assistant Manager, Business Processes will assist with the administration and management of the CGC Risk Register (notifications and change for Gaming Equipment and Technology)ensuring that all records are up to date.
The individual will provide back-office support to the Manager, Processes and Risk Compliance in identifying, evaluating, and mitigating risks related to Gaming Operations based on the technical Regulatory requirements as set forth by CGC (on Gaming Equipment and Technology), GDPR and as aligned to the
relevant ISO international standards.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ongoing liaison with various BUs (Gaming Operations, Marketing, AML, Regulatory Compliance,etc.) for the coordination, processing, and submission of ICR proposals to CGC.
- Ongoing liaison with Gaming Vendors to collect, process, and submit the respective documents (LOI, Casino Games and Gaming Equipment Application Forms, etc.) to CGC for approval.
- Coordination with various BUs for the processing and submission of Normal and Major notifications to CGC based on the respective CGC Directions and Regulation.
- Managing and maintaining a Gaming Library with CGC Gaming Equipment and Game Approvals with the respective Vendor Technical Documentation (GLI, Par Sheet, etc.).
- Managing and maintaining Registers and Records for CGC Normal and Major notifications, proposals, and risks aligned to ISO9001 international standards.
- Supporting the Manager, Processes and Risk Compliance and liaising with Gaming Operations (Slots &Tables) to assist them on establishing processes via an ISO 9001 QMS risk-based approach to ensure that: (a) all risks related to regulatory technical requirements on gaming equipment and technology (installed and new) are managed and mitigated and (b) any New Gaming Technology or Gaming Equipment change is captured with CGC being notified accordingly.
- Liaise with the Manager, Technical Compliance (Gaming Operations-Slots) to identify and design quality improvements with regards to the daily workflows of the CGC Procedures for Proposals and Changes (Gaming Equipment and Technology) and the Direction Casino Layout (Gaming Equipment and Technology); utilize ISO 9001 quality standards for continuous improvement.
- Ongoing liaison with the Senior Manager, Gaming Machines to calculate the theoretical win based on the hold variance for the Slots Monthly Report.
- Ongoing preparation and coordination for the submission of the CGC Monthly Reports (relevant to the Marketing, Gaming, and Surveillance BUs).
- Ongoing liaison with the Manager, Processes and Risk Compliance and Assistant Manager, QMS, utilizing an ISO 9001 QMS risk-based approach to identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks across registers and workflows.
- Ongoing liaison with the Assistant Manager, QMS to ensure and cross-check that all QMS records within the QMS registers are correct, up to date, and aligned to ISO 9001 QMS requirements.
- Ongoing liaison with the Assistant Manager, QMS to assist with implementation and maintenance of the ISO 9001 international standard project.
- Ongoing processing of documents via DocuSign for version control and ISO QMS registers control.
- Managing the onboarding process of Referral Agents.
- Assisting with the onboarding of Junket Operators.
- Assisting the Business Processes team with the designing of Workflows.
- Assisting the Manager, Processes and Risk Compliance with the Business Units daily operational activities.
- Weekly project progress and strategy meetings with the Manager, Processes and Risk Compliance.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
- Managing and maintaining updated Registers and Records aligned to ISO 9001 QMS international standards, BU objectives, and the respective CGC Directions.
- Ensuring that documentation (proposals, notifications, reports, etc.,) to CGC are processed within the specified timelines based on the respective CGC Directions and BU objectives.
- Contributing via support activities the implementation and maintenance of ISO Certifications
- Contributing to the designing of workflows within scope and specified timelines.
- Managing the Business Units DocuSign process ensuring that signatures are secured within agreed timelines.
- Implementing best practice principles within an ISO QMS environment.
- Achieving all deliverables within scope, time, and budgets as agreed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management or Business Statistics & Analysis or any other related field
- Master’s degree in a Business-related subject
Experience
- 3 years’ professional experience within a regulated environment
- 3 years’ experience in managing and coordinating regulatory related tasks and projects
- 3 years’ experience in collaborating & coordinating teams within a compliance business setting
- 3 years’ experience in designing workflows
- 3 years’ experience in managing systems and risk-based registers
- Exposure to ISO programmes (QMS 9001, RM 31000, etc.)
- Exposure to the Gaming Industry
