Our Assistant Management Accountants play a critical role in driving the month-end close process, ensuring accurate revenue recognition, and maintaining a robust balance sheet through comprehensive reconciliations.

In this position, you will manage SOX controls, resolve complex billing enquiries, and contribute to financial forecasting and variance analysis. Additionally, you will cross-functionally support external audit requests and partner with Sales to assist with the monthly commission process by reviewing claims and preparing supporting calculations.

What you’ll do
  • Assist with the revenue month-end close process, ensuring accurate financial reporting, variance analysis (actuals vs. budget), and timely posting of journals.

  • Analyse and report on financial data to identify trends, resolve discrepancies, and provide actionable commercial insights.

  • Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations to maintain financial integrity and regulatory compliance.

  • Review sales commission submissions, collaborate with the Sales organisation to resolve queries, and assist with accurate commission calculations.

  • Help maintain stringent internal accounting controls (including SOX) and facilitate the administration of accounting policies.

  • Collaborate with the broader finance team to support external statutory audits, including collating necessary evidence and conducting auditor walkthroughs.

What experience you need
  • Part-qualified accountant status (e.g., CIMA, ACCA), or equivalent hands-on experience in management accounting and month-end closing processes.

  • Proven experience working within a large, fast-paced corporate environment.

  • Experience assisting with financial forecasting, variance analysis, and complex reconciliations.

  • Proven ability to analyse and manage large, complex data sets using advanced MS Excel skills.

  • Hands-on experience with major ERP systems (such as Oracle, SAP, or Workday).

  • Familiarity with data visualisation and automation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or Alteryx).

  • Working knowledge of AI tools and their application in driving financial process improvements and automation.
