Key Responsibilities
• Work effectively and positively with all px employees, to provide timely, accurate and comprehensive management reporting. To include:
o Undertaking month-end close.
o Management of accruals and prepayments.
o Support of purchase invoice processing.
o Management of sales invoice processing.
• Analyse variances and resolve potential problems with appropriate budget holders, making appropriate recommendations.
• Work with all employees with budgetary responsibilities to ensure that they are all are aware of their Finance responsibilities and how to carry them out.
• Provide relevant and accurate financial and accounting advice and consultancy, including guidance and direction on company procedure, legislative compliance requirements and changes and amendments.
• Prepare and produce management reports.
• Assist Finance & Contracts Administrator to ensure effective and efficient invoice administration.
• Support statutory and commercial audits.
• Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns.
• Provide positive contributions, completion of actions and timely reporting back to other department members and appropriate employees.

Minimum Requirements
• AAT L4
• Successful contribution & work experience in the following:
o Preparation & contribution to financial & management accounts.
o Producing cost & ad hoc reports.
o Maintaining ledgers & reconciliations.
o Budgetary controls.
o Working with and reporting to external clients
• Able to present financial and commercial concepts to different internal and external customers at different business levels.
• Knowledge of financial account management & auditing best practice.
• Confident in the use of Microsoft Office packages.
• Confident use of computerised accounting, banking and data management systems.
• Able to work unsupervised, managing own workload in relation to importance of deadlines.
• Completed the required company induction into this role
