The Assistant Logistic Manager APAC is the subject matter expert on the international freight and courier management with 3PL service providers and able to provide the stock in-transit visibility to all teams so that they are aware of products at risk, or delays in deliveries. Key priorities will be to facilitate the on-time stock availability in regional warehouse in Hong Kong and timely delivery to retailers/customers.    


We are looking for someone with experience in managing freight, courier and customs on stock movement, who understands local regulatory and trade documents. This person must also be an excellent communicator and relationship builder internally and externally, who works hands-on and strategically overcome long-term challenges in a fast-growing business.

Role Accountabilities

  •  Effectively trace inbound shipments to ensure timely receipt and accurate documentation
  • Arrange outbound shipment to retailers, own stores and internal stakeholders, as well as return shipments to ensure shipments are on schedule to meet customers requirement
  • Coordinate the return shipment from APAC warehouse in Hong Kong to Global warehouse or direct suppliers on request
  • Ensure shipments are managed within budget through efficient planning and execution
  • Excel import / export processes in accordance with Incoterms, with the ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements and global trade compliance standards.  
  • Ensure timely submission of customs declarations for all inbound and outbound shipments and maintain accurate records filings
  • Review and verify 3PL billing against contractual agreement/quotation to sure accuracy
  • Develop strong partnership with Freight Forwarder (FF) and courier service providers
  • Monitor and analyse Freight Forwarder (FF) performance on freight/logistics performance to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions 
  • Prepare and present shipment tracker, reports and dashboard on freight/logistics aspects with actionable insights
  • Collaborate with Global Team to align processes and enhance shipment visibility and operational regulatory compliance for future development.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Bachelor in Logistics Management or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in import and export logistics, candidates with less experience may be considered for the Senior Logistic Analyst APAC role.
  • Proven experience in freight forwarding and management of freight forwarders and courier providers.
  • Proven experience negotiating with logistics providers, effectively managing budgets, and driving measurable improvement in operational performance.
  • Multilingual proficiency with good command of English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Power BI.
  • Experience with ERP (including SAP and Oracle),  Freight Forwarder (FF) online system, someone IT savvy who is able to bring experience of improved information sharing.
  • Extensive knowledge of global transportation regulations including but not limited to IATA and IMDG.
  • Highly collaborative team player, self-motivated, with exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambitious workplace, ensuring seamless logistics operations and uninterrupted flow.
