UTA is seeking an Assistant to join our Guild Relations team. In this role, you will support the contract administration process and help drive the day-to-day operations of the department by providing administrative support to the Manager, Guild Relations. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and resourceful, with exceptional communication and writing skills. This position is based in Beverly Hills, California.
The hourly range for this role is $23.00 to $24.00/hr, commensurate with experience and skills.
What You Will Do
Interact with TV and Motion Picture Literary Agents, Assistants, and Accounting Executives to gather relevant data for writer agreements
Acquire client agreements and update the document management report
Conduct research, compile data, and analyze client agreements to determine client sharing status
Update client list and work with TV and Motion Picture Lit Coordinators on onboarding materials for new writer clients
Coordinate with the Data Team to ensure new information is updated in the internal system
Ensure contracts are uploaded into the internal system
What You Will Need
1+ years of administrative experience, preferably supporting contract-related work at a studio, law firm, or network
Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
Ability to effectively liaise with senior executives, internal stakeholders at all levels, and external clients
Capable of managing several projects simultaneously with minimal supervision
Highly professional with excellent judgment
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
Can-do attitude with a willingness to go the extra mile
Highly organized with critical attention to detail
General business knowledge and interest in television, film, and the entertainment industry
Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Outlook, Word, and internet research
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly intense client service work environment
Proficiency with business applications including Zoom, Slack, Concur, and Workday
