Do you want to work for a company where you can make a difference every day? Are you Assistant Manager or General Manager with talent but no opportunity to show it? If so, Cactus might be the next step in your career!

We're currently offering full time AGM opportunities. The ideal candidate is an experienced "hands-on" leader who is energetic and self-starting with a guest-first focus. Candidates must have the capacity to build relationships, motivate others and create a culture of accountability. Taking an assertive approach in overcoming business obstacles and the ability to make data driven decisions that benefit the company and the team are also essential traits. Most importantly, candidates should have a passion for the industry and a strong desire to work for a company that does it the right way.

How are we different?

  • We develop our people through comprehensive, best in class initial and ongoing training programs. We have put lot of time and energy into our e-Learning platform, The Point . If you want to learn how to run a restaurant or gain the skills to move into a corporate role, this is the place to do it.
  • We are a purpose driven company and exist to enable Happiness and Loyalty with Every Interaction. As a result, people love working here.
  • We support our business! Regional Manager s oversee 3 stores (not 7-8) and work out of the restaurants daily. These same regional managers cover PTO so there are no problems taking time off when you want to do so.
  • We have a Facilities Manager that fixes broken equipment and makes repairs immediately.
  • Owners are actively involved (not out of touch).
  • We have strong and steady growth (not crazy unrealistic/unsustainable growth). Our concept is strong, and the owners have the desire and capital to grow, resulting in lots of opportunity for upward mobility.
  • We aggressively promote from within. All our regional managers & GM s started as AGM s or hourly employees.
  • Our restaurants are organized, systematized and we run it like a business . We don't cut corners and focus on doing things right. There s a strong culture of accountability which is not for everyone but if you crave order and logic, you'll love it here.
  • Lastly, we don't short-change the business by skimping on store level management, capital expenditures, hourly labor, etc.

Job Specifics:

  • Promoting a culture of Accountability in which our purpose of Enabling Happiness and Ensuring Loyalty with Every Interaction can thrive.
  • Providing leadership and direction to all hourly employees to achieve high standards in all restaurant operations and customer service.

  • Overseeing all HR duties including the hiring, training and coaching of all hourly employees.
  • Working with others to assertively address and overcome all obstacles that face the business.

What We Do

Founded in 1990, Cactus has been growing brands that help people thrive for more than thirty years. You could say we are the O.G. purpose-driven agency.

We've carved out expertise in Healthcare & Behavioral Health, Retail & CPG, Financial Services, Travel & Tourism and Higher Ed and provide the full gamut of marketing and advertising services, including Brand Strategy, Creative & Design, Media & Analytics and Digital Experience.

And we do it all by starting with our Belief and Behavior Design™ process, which psychology and behavior change models with good ol’ fashioned agency creativity to shape beliefs and drive behaviors to help our clients achieve their desired business outcomes.

We'd love to put our Belief and Behavior Design to work for your brand. Let's get started! Give us a shout: [email protected]

Cactus is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity and is taking action to create a more inclusive and welcoming workplace for all. What makes a person unique to the world around them is also what gives them their unique creative voice. We’re firm believers that breakthrough creative ideas are best developed by diverse teams who bring their unique perspectives, authentic selves, and lived experiences into all of their work. Diversity in our team yields the diversity of thought required to bring fresh creative solutions to our clients, and to create meaningful work that connects with today’s consumer. We aren’t there yet, we know we have work to do, but we are committed to change our agency and the advertising industry for the better. Those who have historically been underrepresented in the advertising and creative community are encouraged to apply and connect with us at [email protected].
