The Assistant Field Service Engineer - Intern for Radiometer is responsible for assisting with the provision of engineering maintenance support services to the Radiometer customer base in Western Australia.
This position is part of the Field Service department located in Perth and will be remote. At Radiometer, our vision is to improve global healthcare with reliable, fast, and easy patient diagnoses.
You will be a part of the Field Service team and report to the Service Team Leader responsible for assistance with the provision of engineering maintenance support services to the Radiometer customer base in a geographically defined region. The Assistant Service Engineer will be working closely with the State Service Engineer and supervised by the Service Team Leader. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Perform service work and maintain technical knowledge across devices.
Conduct annual and semi-annual servicing on all installed analysers in line with the documented Preventative Maintenance schedule.
Ensure all unplanned or on demand analyser service is to be performed in accordance with the customer’s Service Agreement and relevant RPAC processes.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Studying towards a Tertiary Engineering qualification: Biomedical engineering or Electrical & Electronic engineering qualification
Competent user across Microsoft Applications
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and access to a roadworthy vehicle insured for business purposes.
Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 15kg.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Working on electronic and or mechanical devices.
Working with cross functional teams
