The Assistant Manager - Finance is the point of contact for compliance that may require information from or involvement of the Finance department.
Job Description:
- Prepare compliance reports and submissions for PEZA, BOI, BIR, SEC
- Handle remittances such as but not limited to 1601-C, statutory contributions, quarterly and annual income tax return (BIR & LGU)
- Principal point of contact for BIR and LGU audits
- Monitor compliance under Finance's bucket and publish weekly compliance status update
- Update Everise finance and stakeholders with regards to key changes in the tax and regulatory requirements affecting the Company
Performs work related to general accounting:
- Monthly/Annual closing activities
- Accounts reconciliation
- Handles audit requirements of external and internal auditors
Others:
- Ad hoc management reporting
- Assist in tasks as may be needed by the team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field
- 3 to 5 years experience in compliance and accounting/record-to-report process
- Proficient in office computer programs specifically MS Excel
- Experience in accounting software (exposure to NetSuite is a plus)
- Strong communication skills for interacting with both external and internal stakeholders
- Detailed oriented, organized and able to multi-task
- Adaptable to changing work schedules as may be needed
