  • To support the Senior Finance Manager with day-to-day operational tasks. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage large volumes of data and information, ensuring timely submission of all management accounts in accordance with company policies, SOPs, and established deadlines.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee the entire OTC (order to cash) process, from order entry, accurate billing, and credit management to collection and cash application. Ensure the operation team timely invoicing.
  • Involvement in e-invoice implementation.  Responsible for e-invoicing compliance (according to IRB rules).
  • Monitor accounts receivable and actively follow up on overdue payments to ensure timely cash collection.
  • Manage customer master data and ensure accurate.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., sales, operations) to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency in working capital.
  • Prepare short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts, manage daily cash positions to meet financial obligations and identifying opportunities for working capital optimisation.
  • Prepare monthly and yearly cash flow report and submission to HQ.
  • Overseeing the weekly payment forecast prepared by AP team.
  • Manage banking relationships, including the administration of bank accounts, managing bank guarantees, and handling loan drawdowns or repayments.
  • Monitor and manage foreign exchange (FX) risk exposure if applicable.
  • Assist in the finalization of monthly accounts, including the preparation of financial and management reports.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls and finance policies to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Support the preparation of audited financial statements.
  • Oversee and manage the preparation and filing of Malaysian tax returns, including submission local sales tax to custom officer.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents and other statutory bodies/authorities to ensure compliance with audit, taxation and statutory requirements. 
  • Assist the Senior Finance Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the finance and accounts department.
  • Support external and internal audit.
  • Any other ad-hoc tasks may be assigned by the superior from time-to-time. 

Job Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance, preferably Professional accounting certification (ACCA, CPA, MIA or equivalent).   
  • Min 4 – 6 years of working experience in the related field is required, plus audit working experience.
  • Well versed with MFRS/ IFRS. In-depth knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations and industry legislation.
  • Computer literate and must be proficient with MS Office especially MS Excel.
  • Knowledge in SAP/ Oracle is preferable.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with good organizational skills.
  • Analytical thinking with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent report-writing, communication skills and presentation skills.
  • Good attitude and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in both verbal and written in English / Chinese / Bahasa Malaysia.
