The Opportunity:

Are you obsessed with fashion and have a flair for numbers? Join the Reitmans buying team as the Assistant to a Fashion Buyer, where you'll merge your style savvy with analytical skills to support our dynamic buying process.

What You'll Do:

• Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Prepare best-seller reports alongside the Product Manager.
• Attend fit sessions and review samples, labels, and advertising materials to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain and update documentation, including look books and purchase order records.
• Monitor and track budgets, providing regular updates to the buying team..
• Prepare materials for meetings and participate in team discussions.

Who you are:

• College diploma in Fashion Merchandising, administration or equivalent field of study.
• 1-year + related experience
• Excellent sense of style and knowledge of fashion trends
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Good understanding of competitive landscape and trends
