Salary Range: $77000 - $83000 Annual Salary

In alignment with the Company’s mission and values, the Assistant Executive Director provides critical support to the Executive Director (ED) in overseeing the daily operations and managing team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and services to residents. Additionally, a key strategic component is the ability to learn from the ED and other leadership to develop into an ED role in the future. All responsibilities must be completed in accordance with Company policies and procedures, current standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform administrative duties for the Community, including recruiting, background checks, payroll, maintenance of personnel files, employee orientation, and benefits.
  • Coordinate all risk management activities.
  • Perform, administer, and oversee all accounting functions.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
  • Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.

Qualifications:

  • College course or other education in business administration and/or management preferred.
  • Prefer one (1) year of experience supervising and managing employees.
  • Prefer two (2) years of experience in accounting, human resources, and payroll. Preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Ability to effectively train staff.
  • Flexibility in work schedule as evidenced by working holidays, evenings, weekends, and additional shifts when necessary to ensure adequate coverage within the department.
  • Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
  • For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.

Skills Required

  • College coursework or education in business administration and/or management
  • One year of experience supervising and managing employees
