This role would involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to conduct CMP polish experiments and slurry preparations, ensuring effective communication with various functions, applications, metrology, and process engineers. Compliance with company safety regulations is crucial, including maintaining equipment, handling and disposing of slurries and chemicals safely, and keeping a clean work area. The role must provide accurate polish results and respond promptly to ensure quality for internal stakeholders. Supporting urgent polishing demonstrations based on assignments is required. Participation in achieving company quality goals, including employee certification programs, understanding customer requirements, problem-solving, and teamwork, is essential. Flexibility in working shifts, overtime, and rest day adjustments is also necessary.
THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Collaborate with cross function teams to conduct CMP polish experiments and slurry preparations.
2. Work closely and well communication with multiple functions, applications, metrology and process engineer.
3. Comply with company safety regulations: Complies with and aides in the development of departmental safety rules; Ensures all equipment is in good working order and operates in a safe manner; Follows procedures for handling and disposal of slurries and chemicals; Monitors area for hazards; Uses safety equipment when required; Maintains a safe, clean work area.
4. Own personal responsibility to provide valid polish results and immediate situation response to ensure its quality/accuracy for internal stakeholders’ reference.
5. Support urgent polishing demonstrations related but not limited to customers’ or internal requests based on assignment.
6. Participates in achieving the company quality goals: develops and takes ownership for the employee certification program; Strives for a better understanding of our customer's requirements; Maintain proficiency in problem solving and tool troubleshooting techniques; Embrace the concept of teamwork.
7. Be able to cooperate working shift arrangement (three shifts), overtime requirement and rest day adjustment.
Job Qualifications:
1. Familiar with CMP polishers and related metrology operations is preferred.
2. Well know CMP related slurry and chemical handling and mixing procedures is prefered.
3. Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science is preferred.
4. Diligence and carefulness with good discipline and execution.
5. Positive attitude and get up to speed quickly while learning new things/skills.
6. Good interpersonal skill and good team player to co-work with others.
7. Good language skill in English writing and conversation for regular communications across the board.
8. Knowledge of experiment design and JMP data analysis is a plus.
9. Trave is maybe required within Asia and US area.
