Position Summary

The Assistant Director of Systemwide Needs Program (SWNP) Analytics and Operations is responsible for the collection, management, and tracking of Systemwide Programming data related exclusively to the Systemwide Needs Program (SWNP). This role plays a critical, hands-on part in ensuring that SWNP data is accurate, consistent, and organized to support effective program implementation and to inform and shape the impact story shared with stakeholders. Working under the direction of the Executive Director of Systemwide Programming, the Assistant Director serves as an analytical and operational partner to program leadership. The position translates complex programmatic and financial data into clear, compelling narratives for district leadership, the School Board, school leaders, and community partners, and supports the operational infrastructure that allows SWNP to be implemented with clarity, coherence, and transparency. This role is dedicated solely to SWNP and Systemwide Programming and does not perform enterprise data analytics or districtwide accountability functions. Instead, it supports program leadership by providing insight, coordination, and data-driven storytelling aligned with Board Policy DCBB.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Manage all aspects of Systemwide Needs Program data collection, entry, and maintenance, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all data systems used to support systemwide programming.
    • Develop, maintain, and oversee SWNP-specific data systems, dashboards, and tracking tools that reflect programmatic and financial activity by school, service area, and Board-approved area of focus.
    • Oversee the grants management software platform used for SWNP, ensuring accurate tracking of grant-related data, documentation, timelines, and reporting requirements, regardless of the platform selected.
    • Establish and maintain regular meeting cadences with program participants, school leaders, service providers, and other key stakeholders to support ongoing program coordination and implementation tracking.
    • Design, implement, and manage a comprehensive stakeholder feedback system to collect input from schools receiving SWNP services or funding, vendors and partners holding professional service contracts, and other program participants.
    • Analyze and synthesize stakeholder feedback and program data to identify implementation trends, gaps in service delivery, and opportunities for improvement, and to assess whether SWNP funding is meeting the needs of the populations it was designed to serve.
    • Track and organize systemwide programming data to support monitoring of SWNP implementation against Board-approved improvement plans and areas of focus, in alignment with Policy DCBB.
    • Support the Executive Director of Systemwide Programming in developing data reports, dashboards, program narratives, and presentations for a range of audiences, including but not limited to division staff, district leadership, committees, the School Board, school leaders, and external stakeholders.
    • Translate SWNP programmatic and financial data into clear, accessible impact stories that illustrate how systemwide programming resources support schools, students, and communities.
    • Utilize SWNP data to surface insights, patterns, and considerations that inform leadership discussions related to program implementation, measurement, and continuous improvement.
    • Support leadership in preparing and delivering presentations and serve as a presenter when designated by the Executive Director of Systemwide Programming.
    • Collaborate with colleagues across the district to ensure SWNP programming is informed by school-level needs, aligned with district priorities, and responsive to the communities the program is designed to support.
    • Support the continuous improvement of SWNP data systems, reporting tools, and operational processes within the Systemwide Programming Office.
    • Serve as a hands-on analytical and operational partner to the Executive Director of Systemwide Programming, supporting program implementation, measurement, and communication while operating under the direction of program leadership.
    • Provide support in the planning, preparation, and coordination of meetings, trainings, convenings, and other special events in support of Systemwide Programming initiatives and stakeholder engagement.
    • Serve as NOLA-PS Point of Contact for the New Orleans Teacher Job Board, ensuring the platform is operating as designed and coordinating with relevant stakeholders to address needs as they arise.
    • Support the ongoing management and operational continuity of the New Orleans Teacher Job Board as responsibilities transition to the Systemwide Programming team.
    • Perform other duties as assigned in support of high-quality systemwide programming and effective implementation of the Systemwide Needs Program.
