Wabash Senior Living & Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our leadership team as Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON).

This is an excellent opportunity for an RN who is ready to grow as a leader while remaining closely connected to residents, staff, and daily clinical operations. You'll work alongside the Director of Nursing and facility leadership to support our nursing team, strengthen clinical practices, and help ensure our residents receive exceptional care.

Compensation

$84,000 - $94,000, based on experience and qualifications

What You'll Do
  • Assist the Director of Nursing with daily nursing department operations

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff

  • Help maintain high standards of resident care and clinical performance

  • Monitor resident conditions, documentation, and care practices

  • Assist with staff education, training, and development

  • Support staffing and nursing department needs

  • Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives

  • Help maintain compliance with state, federal, and facility requirements

  • Work collaboratively with the Administrator, DON, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team

  • Promote a positive culture of teamwork, accountability, and resident-centered care

Qualifications
  • Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing

  • Nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred

  • Long-term care or skilled nursing experience strongly preferred

  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills

  • Excellent communication, organization, and leadership abilities

  • Dependable, professional, and team-oriented

  • Commitment to providing exceptional resident-centered care
