Established organization is seeking a dedicated nursing leader to join our team as the Assistant Director of Nursing for our OPWDD-certified residential programs, coordinating and overseeing nursing practices across our agency.


Your Impact

  • Develop nursing objectives, policies, and procedures
  • Establish and improve our Nursing Quality Assurance Plan
  • Maintain compliance with care standards and regulations
  • Implement ICF and IRA regulations
  • Participate in management meetings and team conferences
  • Provide healthcare consultation and emergency nursing coverage

Leadership Role

You'll guide a team of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Nursing Supervisors, and AMAP staff, fostering a culture of excellence through mentoring, collaboration, and accountability.

Qualifications
  • NYS Registered Nurse license
  • BSN or Master's degree in Nursing
  • 5+ years of leadership experience
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
  • OPWDD experience strongly preferred

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $95,000-$105,000
  • 4 weeks’ vacation
