QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Television/Film Production, Broadcast Journalism, Communications and/or related area of study.
- Minimum three years of experience in production and/or related field, including studio programming as well as multi-camera event production.
- Must be able to handle complex and fast-paced live production environment
- Experience in managing production schedule
- Organizational, leadership and quick decision-making skills are a must.
- Solid computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and/or comparable programs).
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
- Serve as Assistant Director of the World Feed delivering pertinent information to our clients and helping to assure a clean production.
- Track all break times and sponsored elements aired in broadcasts for use in show reports.
- Produce/direct own features as needed or assigned.
- Support / Oversee show producers in the production of all live programming.
- Responsible for feature idea generation, production scheduling and editing as needed.
- Submit all administrative paperwork in a timely manner and prior to any deadlines.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule which may include overtime on nights, weekends and holidays.
- Special projects or other duties as assigned.
