About the location:
Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor, perched on the spectacular Formentor Peninsula and surrounded by panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the stunning landscape, first opened its doors in August 2024 following an extensive restoration and renovation of the historic property, originally inaugurated in 1929 on a vast private estate. After its successful debut, the resort will reopen to guests in March 2025, reaffirming its status as a unique destination of luxury and elegance on the island.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain harmonious and professional relationships with all departments and the Home Office.
- Ensure compliance with and enforcement of Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as outlined in EmPact.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to effectively relate to all levels of staff and management.
- Oversee technical assistance for hotel guests, addressing technical requirements and issues promptly.
- Ensure high levels of service and support to administrative users according to the contracted Service Level Agreement.
- Provide leadership in managing the accounting office's technological needs and support.
- Ensure the availability of critical systems, including the Front Office Property Management System, Call Accounting, HSIA, PABX, and Food & Beverage Point of Sale systems, 24/7.
- Establish and maintain user procedures and hardware familiarization across all systems.
- Administer technology capital and operating budgets, providing necessary administration services.
- Manage Systems Administration tasks, including user/group accounts, configurations, troubleshooting access issues, and documentation.
- Lead server infrastructure management, performance monitoring, operating system upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Support additional systems such as back office, sales and catering, and human resources applications.
- Provide system support services, including diagnosis of service outages, troubleshooting, and restoration of services, as well as virus protection management.
- Maintain and promote Four Seasons core technology standards as outlined in the Four Seasons IT Core Standards.
- Coordinate new acquisitions and major technology projects as required.
- Participate in property-level and corporate-initiated technology implementations.
- Ensure comprehensive knowledge and support for Desktop OS and applications, including patches.
- Provide direct guest support and high-quality assistance to function rooms and conference services.
- Oversee administration of Lotus Notes, global VPN connections, and other communication tools.
- Assist in developing and managing systems backup and recovery procedures.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors.
- Provide 24/7 support for mission-critical systems.
- Oversee network support and security for hotel networks, including Active Directory maintenance, server infrastructure, and network protection.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Finance or other senior management.
- Recommend new applications to streamline business processes and implement technology best practices.
- Provide HSIA Guest and Customer support in the absence of third-party contracts.
