As Assistant Director (HR Systems, Data and Analytics), you will oversee the administration and governance of PA's HR systems and build robust data governance frameworks and analytics capabilities to support evidence-based HR strategies. This person will be involved in the following key roles:
- Oversee the administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of HR systems to ensure optimal performance, system integrity, and adherence to government standards.
- Establish and implement comprehensive data governance frameworks, policies, and standards to ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance across HR functions, and monitor adherence with corrective measures where necessary.
- Lead HR analytics initiatives to develop and maintain dashboards, reporting mechanisms, and data-driven insights that support evidence-based decision-making across all HR functions and PA divisions.
- Collaborate with internal divisions and external stakeholders to ensure HR systems and data practices remain current and aligned with applicable standards.
- Assess and manage data requests from PA divisions for staff data, ensuring that all data shared is accurate, appropriately authorised, and compliant with PA's data governance policies and government guidelines, to safeguard staff data confidentiality and integrity.
[What we are looking for]
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in HR systems management, data governance, or HR analytics, with prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Proficiency in HR information systems (e.g. Workday or equivalent) and data governance frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated experience in developing dashboards and analytics reporting tools.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in managing system operations and leading process improvement initiatives.
