Gurnick Academy is currently seeking an Assistant Director of Financial Aid - Back End, Full-time. This is an Online/Remote position for Gurnick Academy Corporate Office.

Basic Function
The Assistant Director of Financial Aid – Back-end provides strategic leadership, oversight, and operational governance for back-end financial aid functions across Gurnick Academy. This role ensures regulatory compliance, accuracy in student eligibility determinations, determining estimates, precise packaging and tuition calculations, and consistency in financial aid processes across all campuses.
The Assistant Director partners closely with Campus-Based Financial Aid Directors, Corporate Front-end Financial Aid, Admissions, Finance, Compliance to ensure operational excellence, regulatory adherence, and a high-quality student experience
Qualifications
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 7–10 years of progressive financial aid leadership experience.
- Multi-campus or corporate-level oversight experience preferred.
- Deep knowledge of Title IV regulations and federal financial aid compliance.
- Experience with Return to Title IV calculations.
- Experience managing audits and regulatory reviews.
- Strong analytical and process improvement skills.
- Experience in operations focused on financial aid models.
- Experience implementing financial aid systems or software platforms.
- Compliance or audit background.
