The assistant director of communities is the vibrant, operational heartbeat of MWEG Central — our private online community. Serving as our resident "online extrovert," this role combines community-building with platform strategy and cross-departmental coordination. You are a friendly connector who jumpstarts great conversations, sees who needs to meet whom, and builds the programming, prompts, and volunteer support to make it happen.
In addition to the day-to-day engagement in MWEG Central, this role manages the operational systems behind member-facing communications, serves as MWEG’s in-house Circle expert, and directly supervises the course creation specialist and member experience specialist. The assistant director also serves as deputy to the director of communities, providing continuity and coordination across the communities team when needed.
