About the role:
We are looking for an Assistant Development Manager to join the One Circular Quay Project, on a 12- Month Fixed Tern Contract, working specifically on the Wardorf Astoria, Sydney. In this role, you will support the development project team and your key responsibilities will include:
Support the completion and delivery of major project milestones, including quality reviews, inspections and completion activities.
Coordinate project stakeholders including the Hotel Owner, Operator and D&C Contractor to ensure project obligations and deliverables are met.
Manage governance, reporting and stakeholder engagement requirements for both the JV partner and key Hotel stakeholders.
Oversee defect management, compliance tracking and project completion / handover processes.
Monitor project safety performance and contribute to a strong safety culture.
Manage consultant engagements, contract administration, invoicing and project financial reporting.
Work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams to achieve key project objectives
About you:
You will have a proactive, detail-oriented approach to your work, you will also have:
Experience in a similar role is highly desired.
Strong stakeholder management skills
Tertiary qualification in property, construction or a related field
Experience collaborating with multiple people with diverse backgrounds and needs, such as external consultants or other functional teams.
Experience managing and negotiating with stakeholders.
