Our mission to “Evolve Running” guides everything we do, always putting the needs of the global running community first. As the fastest-growing brand in the sport, we challenge conventional brand-building norms, prioritizing an extremely high-bar for disruptive excellence across product, experiences & content. Our vision is to build an enduring, iconic brand that breaks down barriers & inspires greater passion & participation in the sport we love.

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and creatively driven Assistant Designer to join our design team. This is an opportunity to contribute to the full lifecycle of product creation, from concept development to final execution. The Assistant Designer supports the design team across categories, helping translate seasonal concepts into precise product realities. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for technical apparel and a deep appreciation for the craft of design—someone who can toggle between creative exploration and structured execution with ease.

You will be responsible for flat sketch development, CAD work, organizational upkeep, and creative research. You’ll collaborate across departments and be a crucial link in maintaining flow and precision throughout the design process.

Requirements

Creative & Conceptual Support

  • Assist in the sketching and development of seasonal concepts through visual research, mood boards, and reference curation.
  • Participate in brainstorm sessions and trend research to support design direction.
  • Contribute fresh, relevant, and brand-aligned ideas rooted in performance, art, and culture.

Technical & Design Execution

  • Create and update detailed flat sketches using Adobe Illustrator with accuracy and consistency.
  • Support tech pack development and design file maintenance for each season.
  • Help prep design presentations, internal reviews, and prototype reviews.

Organization & Workflow

  • Maintain and update seasonal line plans, BOM updates, and design archives.
  • Organize digital and physical assets (fabrics, sketches, samples) to ensure easy access and version control.

Tools & Systems

  • Input and maintain accurate design data in PLM (Centric experience is a plus).
  • Prepare CAD color-ups and design variations as needed throughout the development cycle.
  • Support communication with cross functional partners through organized file handoff and technical documentation.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 1–3 years of experience in apparel design (internships included), ideally in performance, technical, or lifestyle categories.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and working knowledge of Photoshop; experience with CAD layout and color-ups required.
  • Experience with 3D tools (Browzwear, Clo)
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple design files and timelines.
  • Curious and creatively driven, with a sharp eye for proportion, silhouette, and functionality.
  • Familiarity with Centric PLM or similar systems preferred.
  • Passion for running, movement, or athletic product design is a strong plus.

Benefits
  • This is a full-time, in-office role based in our Greenpoint, Brooklyn headquarters
  • Competitive base salary + equity
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits and flexible PTO
  • Rocket-ship level momentum with a career-defining opportunity at-hand
