We’re looking for an Assistant Design & Technical Manager with product and specification knowledge to join our team until June 2026.

With technical knowledge and experience at assistant level for a contractor & developer throughout various stages of development/construction, you’ll provide design, technical, project and product development/procurement support for new build and S106 projects.

You’ll support the Compliance, Specification and Performance team in the development and ongoing curation and dissemination of the Employers Requirements including Clarion Design Briefs, Product Book and Specifications. Good organisational, planning, and monitoring/reporting skills to maximise productivity and performance, meeting challenging deadlines, is vital.

We’ll look to you to support the Compliance, Specification and Performance team when liaising with Asset Management teams regarding strategic and facilities management aspects of projects and to help the transfer of quality from pre-contract to post-handover.  You’ll also support the feedback of on-site knowledge and apply continuous improvement techniques.

Working alongside the teams in the Development function and other support functions you’ll help ensure design is progressed and design and technical issues are adequately managed or mitigated.  Good interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to support and engage with managers and customers across the organisation along with external key stakeholders, is essential.

This is a hybrid role with a base location at our offices in Greater London House, Camden.  Candidates will be expected to work from the office at least three days per week.

Occasional travel may be required.  This will include sites, offices and supplier visits.
