Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY: The Assistant Controller supports the Controller in overseeing all finance, accounting and reporting activities. This role is a pivotal liaison to external audit, will spearhead internally the implementation of Workday financials project and manages the end-to-end year-end financial closes.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Key Responsibilities

Leading the monthly and quarterly close and reporting process from start to finish
-
Reviewing and approving account reconciliations and posting of journal entries
-
Budget preparation and analysis
-
Cash management, cost analysis and expense reporting
-
Variance analysis of consolidated financial results
-
Liaison for the year-end financial audit
-
Ad-hoc reporting and special data modeling/trend analysis projects to support operating decisions
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Qualifications
-
CPA / Prior CPA
-
Big Four or Major Public Accounting Firm experience
-
8+ years of overall accounting experience with 3+ years of management
-
5+ years of full cycle accounting
-
Heavy debits and credits experience
-
Implementation experience
-
FP&A experience
-
Budgeting experience
-
Preparation of financials for year-end audits
-
Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, MACROS, what if analysis, financial modeling, etc.)

Keen analytic, organizational, and problem-solving skills
-
Ability to meet a constant stream of deadlines.

Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees.
