Gaines Investment Trust is seeking an experienced Assistant Community Manager to join our team at Turnberry Isle Apartments in Dallas.
This role is ideal for a motivated, organized, and customer-focused property management professional who enjoys building relationships, supporting property operations, and working alongside a strong onsite team. As the Assistant Community Manager, you'll partner closely with the Community Manager to support daily operations, leasing and resident retention, financial responsibilities, and the overall success of the community.

What You Will Do
- Support the daily operations of the community alongside the Community Manager
- Deliver exceptional customer service to current and prospective residents
- Build strong resident relationships and resolve concerns professionally and promptly
- Assist with leasing activities, apartment tours, lease preparation, and move-in coordination
- Process lease renewals and support resident retention initiatives
- Collect and post rent payments and assist with delinquency management and legal notices in accordance with company policies
- Maintain accurate resident files, lease documentation, and property records
- Assist with property reporting and financial accuracy
- Utilize Microsoft Office, Yardi Voyager, and CRM software to manage daily operations
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure service requests are addressed promptly
- Assist with vendor coordination, invoice processing, and administrative responsibilities
- Support marketing initiatives, resident events, and community engagement
- Maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming leasing office
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies
- Perform additional duties as needed to support the success of the community
What You Will Bring
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of Assistant Community Manager or multifamily property management experience, along with:
- Strong knowledge of multifamily leasing and property management operations
- Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience with rent collection, delinquency management, renewals, and lease administration
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Yardi Voyager and CRM experience preferred
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the onsite team
- Professionalism, dependability, and a commitment to providing an outstanding resident experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
