Risk Services of Louisiana, a Leavitt Group affiliate, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Commercial Lines Account Manager to join their team in Alexandria, LA.

As an Assistant Account Manager, you will support our Account Executives and Account Managers by providing exceptional service to clients and maintaining a growing book of business. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, motivated to learn, and eager to grow in the insurance industry.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist with servicing new and renewal business by gathering client information, preparing documents, and supporting underwriting and marketing activities.

  • Maintain accurate data in our agency management system (AMS360).

  • Generate ACORD forms, prepare proposals, policy books, and other documents.

  • Issue insurance verification documents such as ID cards, binders, and certificates.

  • Process policy changes, cancellations, audits, endorsements, and premium finance quotes.

  • Communicate with clients, carriers, and internal team members to resolve service needs and escalate issues when appropriate.

  • Monitor follow-ups, manage documentation, and support daily administrative tasks including incoming/outgoing mail and main line calls.

  • Contribute to a positive, professional team environment and assist with special projects as needed.

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.

  • A willingness to learn commercial insurance lines and develop technical expertise.

Licensing Support:
A Property & Casualty license is preferred, but if you don’t have one, we’ll help you obtain it within your first 6 months.

Professional Development:
We encourage ongoing learning. Industry designations (CISR, etc.) are supported and expected within 2 years.
