The Role

The Role:

As an Assistant Brand Manager reporting to the Senior Brand Manager, you will assist in driving brand growth through strategic planning, financial management and cross-functional collaboration. In this role, you will assist in developing and executing annual marketing plans that drive top and bottom line brand objectives. You will lead the measurement and reporting of both brand and competitive in market results. An analytical, results-oriented and collaborative mindset are essential for this role.

What you will do:

  • P&L Management
    • Familiar with budgeting practices within Brand area.
    • Able to explain the rationale for major line items and supply supporting information.
    • Knowledgeable in financial practices, requirements and budgetary considerations.
  • Business Analysis
    • Experienced with specific methods and tools for assessing and analyzing information.
    • Can describe activities, tasks and deliverables of business assessment.
    • Experienced with developing and delivering presentations that clearly summarize analyzed information.
    • Has participated in the preparation of risk assessment and benefits/opportunities analysis.
  • Marketing Planning & Execution
    • Can describe principles and considerations for market and competitor analysis.
    • Is familiar with locally relevant marketing plan and strategies, and their purpose and intent.
    • Can identify and recommend marketing support tools and vehicles that align to business objectives.
    • Experienced with developing a marketing plan and analyzing in market results.
    • Can discuss alternative digital marketing approaches and associated tools and techniques.
  • Retailer Connection
    • Understand key retailers' strategies
    • Translate brand objectives and strategies into meaningful retailer strategies & tactics
    • Build retailer-specific / shopper plans in partnership with Sales/Trade
    • Assist in creating and then evaluating in-market, retailer-focused executions
  • Digital and Direct to Consumer Marketing
    • Can develop and execute digital marketing campaigns and programs.
    • Can work independently on the D2C platform to access data and translate findings into recommendations.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a related field
  • 5+ years of marketing experience
  • Nielsen, IRI or other POS platform experience
  • Microsoft Office Usage (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)
