Job description:
We are looking for a marketer that is curious, proactive, and a critical thinker to help take Lillet to new heights in the hearts and minds of Belgian and Dutch consumers.
Under the direction of the Brand Manager, the Assistant Brand Manager will play a key role in the achievement and growth of the brand. This role focuses on aiding in the development of brand planning and developing and executing brand activities that are consumer centric.
Roles and responsibilities:
STRATEGY & DECISION-MAKING
- Campaign & activation development: In partnership with the Brand Manager, lead agency briefs, coordinate with Sales teams, and ensure flawless execution of campaigns and activations. Drive post-campaign analysis to optimize future initiatives.
- Data-driven decision making: Analyze sales performance, market research, and category trends to understand business performance and identify opportunities for growth.
- Market & competition benchmarking: Monitor competitors’ communication and activations to identify best practices and inspiration for brand development.
SUPPORT
- Campaigns: Support the Brand Manager in content production in collaboration with our creative agency (briefing & approvals) and prepare/upload files for the Digital team.
- Marketing activations: Follow up on marketing activation and partnership requests, ensuring smooth stakeholder management with our partners and internal requesters to deliver materials and bottles.
- Material production: Coordinate with suppliers, check samples, validate, and follow up to ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Field activities: Participate in on-the-ground activities and activations to strengthen brand presence.
DAY-TO-DAY
- Data & reporting: Track Lillet sell-in/sell-out data and update dashboards.
- Trade Marketing support: Provide ad hoc support to Trade Marketing teams regarding brand fit and design approvals.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with the Brand Ambassador, Trade Marketing, Sales, Digital, and external partners to drive brand initiatives.
- Team support: Accompany the Brand Manager in meetings with internal departments and external stakeholders.
EVENTS
- Tactical event support: Contribute to the organization of events for Lillet and prestige brands such as Perrier-Jouët and Sainte Marguerite.
- Stakeholder management: Coordinate with PR agencies, event suppliers, and customers to ensure successful event execution.
Student profile
- University cursus, preferable in Business or Commerce
- Marketing experience, preferable in FMCG or spirit industry is a plus
- High level of initiative and entrepreneurial spirit

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (written and oral)
