Job Description

Notre Dame Athletics develops and challenges each student-athlete to pursue excellence and serve as a force for good in the world. Our vision is to lead collegiate athletics by defining the integrated student-athlete experience and forming champions. To do this, we are eager to attract, recruit, develop and retain individuals who positively contribute to a collaborative, connected culture where all may thrive.

As a prospective member of Notre Dame Athletics, we invite you to apply if you have a shared purpose for our distinctly integrated student-athlete experience, an unrivaled passion for people who propel a dynamic and high performing organization, and a proven record of success in your field.

As the Assistant Athletics Director, Equipment Services, you'll provide leadership and strategic oversight for the equipment and apparel operations supporting Notre Dame's non-football programs. This is a highly visible role that combines operational leadership, financial stewardship, relationship management, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to student-athletes, coaches, and athletics staff.

You'll lead the ordering, distribution, and retrieval of Under Armour apparel and accessories for 25 athletic teams and numerous auxiliary groups, with a primary focus on supporting multiple Olympic sport programs. As a key liaison to Notre Dame's Under Armour representatives, you'll build strong relationships and communicate regularly with professionals at the Under Armour headquarters to ensure the department's needs are met.

You'll also lead the Equipment and Apparel Services staff, manage a multi-million-dollar apparel inventory, and ensure accurate inventory records and databases. Beyond day-to-day equipment operations, you'll help coordinate postseason awards, collaborate with the Monogram Club, support game-management preparations, and serve as a trusted partner to team operations personnel and student managers.

This is an opportunity to make an impact behind the scenes of Notre Dame Athletics - leading the people, partnerships, and operations that help our student-athletes and teams be ready to compete at their highest level.
