The Department of Modern Languages invites applications for a full-time Assistant or Associate Professor of Spanish to begin Fall 2026. This in-person position requires a dynamic, student-centered educator committed to innovative undergraduate teaching and research. The area of specialization is open. Faculty are expected to integrate faith into teaching and actively contribute to departmental, university, and community service.

QualificationsEDUCATION
ABD or Master’s Degree in Spanish, Hispanic Studies, or related field required; Ph.D., preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS- Fluency in Spanish and English required.
- Demonstrated expertise in the discipline.
- Prior collegiate-level teaching experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development and community engagement.
- Experience teaching in Spanish for Heritage Speakers and Spanish for the Professions courses preferred.
- Demonstrated research and publication record required.
- Demonstrated Christian commitment and ability to integrate faith into coursework.
