We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to highly organized and experienced Transport Handling Head to lead and manage all aspects of transportation and vehicle operations. Will oversee inbound and outbound logistics, fleet management, route planning, cost optimization, vendor coordination, and ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan and schedule daily, weekly, and monthly transport operations.
Identify opportunities to reduce transport and logistics costs.
Negotiate contracts and rates with transport vendors and partners.
Track freight costs and analyze cost-benefit scenarios.
Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Conduct safety training for drivers and logistics staff.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Degree/ Diploma in Human Resources or any other relevant qualification
- Good coordination skills
