Perform daily bank and cash imports, allocations and reconciliations; process invoices, journals and adjustments; prepare supplier, VAT and balance sheet reconciliations; investigate accounting vs operational discrepancies; support month-end, year-end, audit and tax submissions; maintain fixed asset records; collaborate with finance, audit, operations, tax and Treasury; and drive continuous improvement of finance processes and controls.

Requirements
Essential
- Diploma or
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Bookkeeping or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years'
experience in an accounting or bookkeeping environment.
- Experience in
high-volume reconciliations and transaction processing.
- Working
knowledge of accounting systems such as Xero, Sage, SAP, Oracle or a similar
ERP.
- Advanced
Microsoft Excel skills are non-negotiable.
- Understanding of
VAT, supporting documentation requirements and financial controls.
- Strong attention
to detail, accuracy and ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Analytical and
problem-solving ability, with confidence to investigate and resolve exceptions.
- Good written and
verbal English communication skills, with the ability to work with finance and
operations.
- High level of
integrity, confidentiality and ability to work under pressure.
Advantageous
- Exposure to cash
office, multi-currency, cross-border or Sub-Saharan Africa operations.
- Experience
supporting tax consultants, auditors or statutory submissions.
