Job Description

The role of Assistant Accountant is really important to us. You will be responsible for contributing to the preparation and reporting of the management accounts and also assisting in innovation within our financial operations.

  • Assist with cycle billing, ensuring orders, changes, and cessations are captured.
  • Support the setup and accuracy of products and services within the billing platform.
  • Assist with month-end billing, including invoice preparation and distribution in line with the billing calendar.
  • Support the review of billing activity to identify and resolve errors or discrepancies.
  • Assist with data quality improvements, process enhancements, automation, and ad-hoc finance projects.
  • Assistance towards the monthly preparation of the management accounts in line with our group reporting deadlines
  • Detailed balance sheet reconciliations for your designated areas
  • Ensure all intercompany reconciliations are performed as per group deadline.
  • Detailed and accurate weekly cashflow forecasts, with variance analysis reviewed with Finance Manager
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis as required

Qualifications

  • Part Qualified Accountant 
  • A logical thinker and problem solver
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Embraces and drives change.
  • Organised and able to manage workload / deadlines.
  • Good communicator both inside and outside of Finance
  • Experience in a multi-entity organisation desirable.
