We are currently seeking for an Assistant Accountant to join our team. The assistant accountant's responsibilities include general accounting entries, preparing financial reports, preparing, and processing payments, performing account reconciliations, and performing other accounting duties as assigned.
- Monitor Mydata requirements and perform all the relevant necessary actions through the accounting software and AADE
- Reconcile accounts with customers and suppliers.
- Support month-end and year-end closing process
- Post invoices, payments and other Journal Entries
- Support the preparation of financial analysis, budget forecasts and reports
- Process payments and support day to day operations
- Assist with annual audit preparation
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Master’s Degree in Accounting or Finance will be considered as a plus.
- At least 3 years of working experience in a similar position.
- Proven knowledge of Greek GAAP,ACCA or IFRS certification is a plus
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g. Epsilon Net -Pylon)
- Good command of the English language.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail, reliability, and eagerness to learn.
