We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Assistant to support the finance department with daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for data entry, account reconciliations, maintaining financial records, and assisting with various accounting and administrative functions to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate and timely data entry of financial transactions into accounting systems.
- Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, customer accounts, and general ledger balances.
- Prepare and maintain accounting records, files, and supporting documentation.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Assist with audits and provide supporting documentation when required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
Experience Needed/Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative support is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Must be comfortable working in a large group environment interacting with colleagues at all levels in the UK and other countries around the world

The Network Aviation Group provides airline sales and services through two core divisions: cargo capacity sales and freighter-aircraft management. Its GSSA businesses offer tailored cargo-revenue and market-share services to airlines, while Network Airline Management operates B747F and MD11F aircraft on scheduled routes and charters worldwide. With offices across five continents, the group handles approximately 100,000 tons of cargo annually for airline customers globally.
