The Retirement Global Strategic Relations team is a critical part of the overall $300BN + Defined Contribution business at J.P. Morgan Asset Management. This team interfaces with partners in product, field sales, sub-advisory, marketing and operations. Their task is to bring record-keeping and investment placements, product design and field execution together to better serve our Defined Contribution clients.
As Vice President on the Retirement Global Strategic Relations (GSR) team will play a critical role in building our Defined Contribution presence with key broker-dealers, record-keepers, and analytic firms. You will support the broader GSR team on their most complex clients through a combination of direct client work and analytic and strategic modeling. Examples of this work could include building a financial model to evaluate a co-manufactured target date opportunity or managing a project to ensure field execution around a broker-dealer initiative. In addition to playing a support role on large clients, you will also lead on selected broker-dealer, third party administrator, and other firms.
Job Responsibilities

  • Build strategic business plans for key relationships. Plans would include industry perspective, financial analysis, field execution plan, and key metrics for success
  • Create and foster client relationships with important retirement stake-holders at covered firms.
  • Build coverage, relationships and product placement with selected firms
  • Build overall retirement national accounts strategic infrastructure
  • Report progress to show success by firm in the field
  • Structure for addressing sub-advised and co-manufactured opportunities
  • Develop partnership strategy with Vestwell
