As a Portfolio Manager in our Multi-Asset Investment team, you will possess either broad multi-asset expertise or specialist asset class knowledge that can enhance our investment capabilities. As an experienced Portfolio Manager at the Vice President or Executive Director level, you should have a proven track record of operating within a structured and disciplined investment process.
Job responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day trade execution and portfolio management processes, collaborating closely with internal partners across portfolio management, research, trading, and other relevant functions.
- Execute investment ideas within portfolios in a disciplined manner, with careful attention to risk budgets, portfolio sensitivities, opportunity sets and client constraints.
- Work within a team of portfolio managers to contribute to investment decision-making and alpha generation for multi-asset portfolios, leveraging both quantitative and fundamental research.
- Support portfolio construction and ongoing management for both new and existing client mandates.
- Participate actively in investment discussions, constructively challenging and refining ideas to enhance portfolio outcomes.
- Communicate portfolio performance, positioning, and market outlooks to clients, demonstrating the ability to represent the business professionally and effectively.
- Ensure adherence to compliance, risk management, and operational best practices.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues across global offices, demonstrating flexibility to engage with international teams as needed.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Minimum of 8 years' experience working in portfolio management and/or strategy and research.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, macroeconomics, and multi-asset investing, or deep expertise in a specific asset class relevant to multi-asset strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to operate with attention to detail in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
- Proven capability to debate, test, and discuss investment ideas within a global team of investors.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate portfolio performance and market views to clients and stakeholders.
- Strong team orientation, with a collaborative approach and a results-driven work ethic.
- Evidence of drive, determination, and a commitment to delivering high-quality investment outcomes.
- Willingness to work flexibly in order to support collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders across different time zones.
