Job Description
We are a dedicated team of experienced professionals who deliver our global ETF capabilities to APAC clients. We are executing a focused ETF product strategy that spans asset classes, including equities, fixed income, and multi-asset with a focus on actively managed ETFs. The ETF business leverages the firm's numerous competitive advantages, including industry leading portfolio management, research and investment insights.
As an Australia ETF Specialist in the APAC ETF Team, you will be focused on growing our ETF business in Australia. You will report to Philippe El Asmar, Regional Head of ETFs based in Hong Kong and locally to Mark Carlile Head of Wholesale - Australia and New Zealand based in Melbourne.
Job Responsibilities
- Partner with all client advisors to cultivate ETF client relationships with financial advisors, banks, securities firms, digital wealth managers, asset managers, pensions, insurance companies and superannuation.
- Meet annual targets for Net New Assets, Revenues, and client engagement with effective tracking of client activity and pipeline. The primary focus will be on the locally listed ETF but deliver the US and UCITs ETF platforms as well.
- Deliver Active ETF Insights and thought leadership via Podcasts, Investor Education, Guide to ETFs, ETF Symposiums and ETF Academies.
- Partner with Investment Specialists across all asset classes to effectively deliver ETF resources to clients including comparative analytics, capital markets insights and actionable investment ideas.
- Partner with the rest of the APAC ETF Specialists team and share business intelligence.
- Act as local spokesperson for ETF business with media and events.
- Collaborate closely with various teams within JPMorgan Asset Management across Functions and Controls
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills.
- 8+ years of ETF business experience
- Experienced Australia and New Zealand ETF clients coverage either as an ETF specialist or as a Client Advisor
- Entrepreneurial, proven past experience in building businesses and able to leverage resources.
- Strong understanding and thought leadership for the APAC and Global ETF Industries, landscapes and key trends.
- Strong communication skills, confident, self-reliant, and good team player
- Strong one-to-one / small group relationship management and selling skills.
