We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that our products and processes meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to drive and resolve quality issues, implement improvements, and support our commitment on Statistical Bin Limit (SBL) triggering process at Backend Micron Internal and External Manufacturing Sites.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures.
- Establishes Business Rule and guidelines on managing assembly and test SBL related change.
- Scope will be SBL or applicable too other Defense Line control.
- Enables proper implementation, sustainment and measurements of the assembly SBL process.
- Hosting SWAT (Strategic Workflow Alignment Team), perform inspections, audits, and tests to ensure compliance with company business rule and industry standards.
- Reduces false alarms and increasing detection of non-conforming material
- Provides metrics for driving Assembly SBL performance across sites and within each site respectively
- Deployment of best known methods, and governance of Level 3 Global AT Quality Procedure across the AT network.
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in processes and products.
- Develop and maintain analytical dashboards and reports relevant to the SBL performance and product data
- Develop and maintain simple python-based ETL pipelines
- Train and guide team members on quality standards and procedures.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in quality engineering or a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or technology environment.
- Solid understanding of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and standards (e.g., ACQE001, AECQ002).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, statistical and communication skills (e.g., JMP, 8D, KT)
- Strong knowledge of Python and packages for data analytics and data engineering.
- Hands-on experience in database technologies including SQL, Snowflake, and GCP BigQuery for setting up visualizations and business reports.
- Strong hands-on experience with visualization software like Tableau, Power BI, and JMP.
- Ability to work effectively ability across global teamwork and communication
- Experience with statistical bin limit (SBL).
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python and SQL, with experience in analytical tools like Tableau and JMP.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements relevant to our industry.
