Job Summary
The Assembly Technician builds, tests, and repairs pasteurizer equipment while also assisting with general warehouse tasks, including picking items and packing orders for shipment, and providing over-the-phone product support for customers. This role involves hands-on assembly work using a variety of tools and requires a working knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing concepts.
Essential Functions
Collaborates with other team members to efficiently assemble and repair pasteurizer machines, ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards
Provides troubleshooting and problem-solving assistance for customers remotely, ensuring timely and effective resolution of product issues. Occasionally travels to customer locations to perform on-site service repairs.
Partners with the production team to gain a thorough understanding of pasteurizer equipment functionality, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
Fulfills customer orders by accurately picking and packaging products from the warehouse, maintaining order accuracy, and shipment readiness
Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work environment in both the production room and warehouse, adhering to company safety protocols and cleanliness standards
Comply with Company and department policies and standards; performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or Equivalent or equivalent education and/or experience
2 years of experience in production or assembly of products
Preferred Requirements
Experience working with electrical component assembly work
Warehouse experience, including forklift operation
Skills and Abilities
General mechanical aptitude with prior experience in the areas of plumbing, heating, electricity and/or electronics
Strong logic and intermediate mathematics skills
Competencies in the area of customer service, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication
Ability to meet daily and weekly production goals in a fast-paced working environment
General computer proficiency, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Facility: This position is in a fulfillment center. The fulfillment center is a warehouse for the storage and distribution of dental and/or animal health supplies and equipment. In general, the building’s primary work area consists of pallet storage racking, roller storage, and small item storage shelving. The facility may use powered conveyor systems for the transportation of products. Pallet jacks and forklifts are used for palletized products. Some positions require use of safety equipment, which is provided as needed.
